About the Job
- Als student geneeskunde werk je nauw samen met de artsen van de internationale bijstand en ondersteun je de dienstverlening vanuit de alarmcentrale
- Je biedt hoofdzakelijk telefonische ondersteuning en volgt daarbij strikt de procedures en afspraken met ziekenfondsen en andere partners
- Je traceert patiënten in buitenlandse ziekenhuizen en bereidt de medische opvolging voor die door onze artsen wordt uitgevoerd
- Je coördineert ziekenhuisopnames in België in het kader van repatriëringen
- Je staat vast in contact (telefonisch of via E-mail) met huisartsen, specialisten en ziekenhuizen in België voor de opvolging van repatriëringen en medische dossiers
- Onder supervisie van de artsen neem je mee beslissingen in dossiers, onder andere door medische rapporten te analyseren en correct te interpreteren
- Daarnaast zorg je samen met de artsen voor een helderen en gestructureerde verslaggeving van contracten met privéartsen in het buitenland, buitenlandse ziekenhuizen en internationale partners
- Je overlegt regelmatig met de artsen en de verantwoordelijken van de alarmcentrale om een vlotte samenwerking en opvolging te garanderen
Your Profile
- Je bent student in de geneeskunde
- Je hebt interesse in reisgeneeskunde
- Je beheerst Nederlands, Frans en Engels; kennis van andere talen is een pluspunt
- Je beschikt over sterke communicatieve vaardigheden
- Je bent collegiaal ingesteld en kan goed omgaan met stress
- Je bent bereid om volgens een beurtrol ook in weekends en op feestdagen te werken
- Je werkt vlot met computerprogramma's
- Voltijdsregime van 38u/week
- Startdatum voorzien op: 25/6, 26/6, 29/6 of begin juli in onderling overleg
